St. Mary Parish Council The Parish Council serves as the consulting and advisory body of the parish. The advisory process begins within the council's commissions and flows through the council as advice to the Pastor. When financial matters are involved, the Council's advice flows directly to the appointed Parish Finance Council who also advises the Pastor. Both the Parish Council and Finance Council respect the ultimate decisions of the Pastor. With the Pastor serving as President, the group elects a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, and chairpersons for each commission of the parish.
