Upcoming Events Stewardship Appeal 2008 “Give as God Has Given to You” Our Stewardship Committee is gearing up for our annual census to take place between October 29th through November 11th. Over 75 visitors will be calling on fellow parishioners to participate in our census and to invite their pledge to our Stewardship Tithing Drive for 2008. Pastor Appeal Sunday is November 4th. Please welcome the phone calls and visits of your parish visitors. Parishioners tithing dollars are responsible for the operating budget of the parish, over $590,000 annually. Above and beyond the budget, the parish is also responsible for the mortgage amortization of capital improvements, equaling $100,000 each year. This made possible renovations to the Sisters of Mercy Building to include our new Middle School and the Purchase of the house on Providence Street. Through your generous support of our Stewardship Appeal (Tithing), St. Mary Parish can continue to well serve its parishioners and school community.
